The film
isolates and re-visit a new
scenario for Simone signoret casted
in the french film "Le chat" (1971), as
an old alcoholic wife living with her husband
in an old house on the edge of Paris.
The film draws a silent series of lonely
scenes of the female character, facing herself
in every mirors of the house.
Becoming an existential
and psychologic
portrait, it is no longer clear to distinguish
the borders between
the character's actress
from her ownself.
The repetitive gesture of looking at herself
in all the mirors of the houses almost
appears as a "fourth look" in which the characters
Is looking at the actress playing herself.
